Exodus Chapter 15 Summary
Exodus Chapter 15 celebrates the Israelites’ miraculous deliverance from Egypt with a song of praise, often referred to as the “Song of Moses.” After crossing the Red Sea, Moses and the Israelites sing about God’s mighty power, describing how He drowned Pharaoh’s army and became their strength and salvation. The song exalts God’s holiness, sovereignty, and His role as their protector. The chapter also recounts the Israelites’ journey through the wilderness. They face challenges, such as a lack of water, but God provides by making bitter water drinkable at Marah and later provides them with manna and quail. This chapter emphasizes God’s faithfulness in meeting His people’s needs.
