Commitment to Biological and Biblical Truth
On October 15, the Norwegian Episcopate, along with 31 Christian communities, signed an Ecumenical Declaration addressing gender and sexual diversity. This initiative includes participation from the Catholic bishops of Norway, the Lutheran Missionary Society, Value Alliance, and Foursquare Norway.
The Declaration emphasizes a commitment to biological facts and biblical teachings, stating that these truths are not open for debate. It aims to provide support for individuals increasingly impacted by gender ideology while firmly opposing any form of harassment and exclusion.
Support for Affected Individuals
The document reflects a growing concern among Christian communities regarding the influence of gender ideology on society. By affirming both biology and the Bible, the signatories hope to create an inclusive environment that respects individuals without compromising their foundational beliefs.
In summary, this Ecumenical Declaration serves as a clear statement of faith for the participating communities, reinforcing their commitment to biblical truths while advocating against discrimination.
