Successful Seminar Attracts Over 16,000 Attendees
The Shincheonji Church of Jesus in Masan held its “Shincheonji’s Bible Seminar: Testimony on the Fulfilled Realities of Revelation” on the 25th. The event attracted over 100 pastors and 16,000 attendees, fulfilling requests from regional church leaders. A live broadcast on YouTube garnered over 375,155 views, indicating strong interest in the seminar.
A Call for Open-Mindedness Among Pastors
During the seminar, a pastor with 20 years of experience emphasized the importance of open-mindedness. “Other pastors shouldn’t dismiss it just because they belong to a different denomination. They should listen for themselves and decide,” he stated. This sentiment reflects a growing willingness among some church leaders to engage with Shincheonji’s teachings.
Chairman Lee Man-hee Addresses Attendees
Chairman Lee Man-hee delivered a comprehensive overview of biblical prophecy and its fulfillment. He stated, “I am testifying to what I have seen and heard regarding the contents of Revelation. The Bible’s words must be delivered accurately, without distortion or addition.” Lee encouraged attendees to approach the message with humility, as Jesus taught, and to verify its truth personally.
Positive Reactions from Attendees
One pastor, who has been in ministry for 15 years, expressed astonishment at Lee’s lecture. “He spoke for over an hour without even opening the Bible, and I found nothing that strayed from its teachings. After hearing this, I wanted to learn more about what Shincheonji Church really is,” he shared. This experience motivated him to share the message with others.
Future Seminars Planned
A representative from Shincheonji Church of Jesus announced plans for additional seminars. “It is encouraging that many pastors have inquired about more Bible seminars. To meet this growing interest, we will hold a seminar in Busan on September 29th,” they said. This initiative aims to foster unity among various denominations through shared biblical teachings.
Expanding Influence and Collaboration
As of last month, 727 domestic churches have signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with Shincheonji Church of Jesus for teaching exchanges. Internationally, 13,053 churches across 84 countries have also signed MOUs. Notably, 1,671 churches in 43 countries have joined Shincheonji and updated their signage to reflect this affiliation.
This seminar marks a significant step in promoting dialogue and understanding within the Christian community, as Shincheonji Church continues to expand its influence both domestically and internationally.
