In a significant move towards spreading the Gospel to unreached communities, Unknown Nations has teamed up with MegaVoice to enhance audio Bible distribution initiatives.
Greg Kelley, speaking on behalf of Unknown Nations, emphasized the importance of strategic collaboration: “It’s critical that we all recognize our strengths and understand that none of us can fulfill Jesus’ command alone. We must work collectively. I believe this is the environment where Jesus blesses us the most.”
Unknown Nations focuses primarily on unreached people groups within the 10/40 window region, employing local missionaries and humanitarian efforts alongside the distribution of audio Bibles in areas with minimal gospel presence.
MegaVoice, known for its solar-powered audio Bibles, partners with various ministries to ensure widespread distribution, allowing people to hear the Gospel in their native languages.
Kelley underscored the significance of their partnership with MegaVoice, enabling Unknown Nations to concentrate on its core competency of delivering the Gospel to unreached regions.
“When Jesus commanded us to make disciples of all nations, it necessitates not only establishing churches but also ensuring access to the Word of God. For those who learn orally, alternative means are essential for the Word to resonate in their hearts,” Kelley added.
Responding to the statistics from the International Orality Network, which indicates 5.7 billion oral learners globally, with 2.7 billion unreached, Unknown Nations and MegaVoice are aligned in their belief that universal literacy is impractical. Instead, they advocate for delivering the Word of God through audio Bibles, effectively reaching oral learners and nurturing them as disciples.
The collaboration between Unknown Nations and MegaVoice exemplifies a synergy aimed at meeting the spiritual needs of unreached communities. Together, they seek divine intervention to prepare hearts to receive the Gospel, trusting that their joint efforts will lead many to faith.
