Jennie Allen, a prominent speaker on college campuses, has witnessed a profound spiritual revival unfolding across America, particularly among young people.
Speaking from the red carpet of the KLOVE Fan Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, Allen described the genuine interest in faith and the Bible she has encountered. “It is so real,” Allen told CBN News. “There’s no hype. They actually are hungry for God. It’s been the most beautiful thing.”
Allen has observed large college-age audiences deeply engaged with her Gospel messages. The enthusiasm is so intense that at some schools, she has conducted impromptu baptisms in the backs of pick-up trucks and even in local creeks.
“They are responding to the Gospel,” Allen said. “And they are showing up in droves. So, it’s been super encouraging that this generation wants God.”
This rising interest among Generation Z first caught Allen’s attention in 2018 when she spoke about sin at Texas A&M. The young audience’s immediate and intense response was a “special” moment for her.
“They were hungry,” she recalled. “They were willing to be honest; they wanted God.”
