New Church Campus Celebrates Milestone
Bible Baptist Church is excited to announce the grand opening of its new facility in Genoa Township. The church will host a special ribbon-cutting ceremony this Sunday to mark this significant occasion.
After nearly two years without a permanent location, Bible Baptist Church has moved into its new home at 3900 Golf Club Road. Previously, the congregation rented space in the Howell High School auditorium. The first service at the new facility, now called “Bible Baptist Church at Pine Summit,” was held on Sunday, September 8.
The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for September 29, and everyone in the community is invited to join in the celebration.
Growth Leads to New Beginnings
The church’s growth prompted the move from its former location on M-59. In 2020, Bible Baptist Church purchased 46.5 acres at the corner of Latson Road and Golf Club Road. After four years of planning, approvals, fundraising, and construction, church officials are ready to embark on this new chapter.
Pastor Tim Christoson expressed gratitude for the church community’s support, stating, “I’m thankful for the faith and generosity of our church family. Our faith was stretched as we took steps to provide more space for ministry to all ages. God has been faithful to us, and we hope to glorify Him in this place for years to come!”
Features of the New Facility
The new facility spans nearly 20,000 square feet and is designed to enhance the church experience for its members. It includes state-of-the-art classrooms for children, spacious areas for community gatherings, and a 525-seat auditorium for Sunday worship services.
The grand opening event promises to be a meaningful celebration for both the church congregation and the local community.
